形态描述：根状茎黄色，节间密，生多数须根。叶有长柄；叶片卵状三角形，长6-12厘米，宽5-9厘米，三全裂，中央全裂片卵状菱形，宽3-6厘米，基部有长达1.4厘米的细柄，顶端长渐尖，3-6对羽状深裂，深裂片斜长椭圆状卵形，顶端急尖，彼此的距离稀疏，相距最宽可达1.5厘米，边缘具带细刺尖的锐锯齿，侧全裂片无柄或具长1-6毫米的细柄，斜卵形，比中央全裂片短，长3.3-7厘米，二深裂至距基部约4毫米处，两面的叶脉隆起，除表面沿脉被短柔毛外，其余均无毛；叶柄长8-19厘米，无毛。花葶1-2条，在果期时高15-25厘米；多歧聚伞花序具3-4(-5)朵花；苞片椭圆形，三深裂或羽状深裂；萼片黄绿色，椭圆形，长7.5-8毫米，宽2.5-3毫米；花瓣匙形，长5.4-5.9毫米，宽0.8-1毫米，顶端圆或钝，中部以下变狭成为细长的爪，中央有蜜槽；花药长约0.8毫米，花丝长2-2.5毫米；心皮11-14，花柱外弯。蓇葖长7-9毫米，宽3-4毫米。
